The woman was arrested after the event at the Wuhan-Tianhe International Airport in China.
The passenger on a Xiamen Airlines flight was arrested last Monday after opening the emergency door of the plane “for fresh air to enter.”
The event, which occurred before the aircraft took off, sowed nervousness among passengers, at the Wuhan-Tianhe International Airport, in central China. Xiamen Airlines said in a statement that this is not the first time events like this occur.
In December 2014, another passenger on a flight of the same airline was arrested for a similar event.
