The aircraft took off from runway 36 at Jeffersonville-Clark Regional Airport at 11:24 local time. Contact with the flight was lost about four minutes later. The aircraft was found to have crashed, leaving a trail of small debris, as well as blackened trees at a distance of 12 km north-northwest of the airport. All three occupants suffered fatal injuries and were found dead.
