Ryanair amends new rules of carrying hand luggage

RyanairThe airline Ryanair amends new rules of carrying hand luggage since November 1. At present, passengers have the right to take two bags to the salon without additional payment.

However, as noted in the airline, many people uses the most of this opportunity and bring to the salon two big bags. They create inconvenience for other passengers and delay landing while trying to attach their bags somewhere in the cabin.

From November 1, Ryanair passengers will still be able to carry free of charge two small bags, but one of them they will have to pass at the gate, from where they will be sent to the cargo compartment of the aircraft. At the same time, Ryanair reduces the price of baggage transportation from 35 GBP to 25 GBP and increases the authorized baggage weight from 15 kg to 20 kg.

Ryanair customers will have to pay 5 GBP for priority boarding if they want to carry a wheelie bag on board. The passengers without priority boarding will only be able to take one smaller carry-on bag on board the aircraft. Priority boarders will still be able to carry on two bags.
