More than 450 flights of Oman Air were canceled from April 1 to April 30 due to the grounding of Boeing 737 MAX series aircraft. The airplanes from the series are banned from performing passengers flights worldwide, following the crash of Ethiopian Airlines flight ET302
“According to the order of the State Civil Aviation Authority on the suspension of the Boeing 737 Max flights, 454 Oman Air flights were canceled from April 1 to April 30. The company is ready to re-book seats on other flights in the same direction”, says the statement of the airline.
The highest canceled flights were recorded to the Indian cities of Hyderabad and Kozhikode, to Salalah (Oman), to Saudi Arabia, Zanzibar, Karachi (Pakistan) and others.
Passengers are advised to check in advance with the reference airline if there are any changes on their routes.
