The number of active US military sick with coronavirus exceeds one thousand, the Pentagon reported Monday.
There are currently 1,132 active military personnel with the disease, compared to 978 on Friday.
Besides, 303 cases have been registered among the National Guard.
Among the branches of the armed forces, the Navy has the most cases with 431, including more than 150 crew members of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt.
