The pilot of a fumigating plane was injured, after crashing into a tree on Monday morning.
The Red Cross and the Fire Department reported that at 6:07 am they received an alert about an air accident on Mile 24 in Batán, in Matina, Limón.
“We attended the precipitation of a fumigating aircraft. A patient was transferred to a medical center,” reported the fire department.
Meanwhile, Red Cross explained that the patient was in a delicate condition due to the blow, so he was referred to the Batán clinic.
The scene was assured and at the moment the causes that generated the mishap are unknown.
