British lowcoster easyJet starts selling tickets for flights of other airlines

easyJetBritish lowcoster easyJet offers passengers a new service “Worldwide by easyJet”. Now through the carrier’s website the travelers can buy tickets for flights of other airlines. So far Westjet and Norwegian Airlines have joined the agreement, but in the future the number of partners will increase.

While in the formulation of a compound flight docking is carried out through the London airport Gatwick. In the near future, easyJet plans to carry out formulation in other airports – for example, in Amsterdam, Barcelona, ​​Geneva, Milan and Paris.

In addition, the British lowcoster easyJet will begin selling tickets on behalf of small local carriers. Thanks to this through the airline’s website it will be possible to book a flight, for example, from Edinburgh and Glasgow to remote Scottish islands.

“Now travelers will be able to buy a ticket for a transatlantic flight through our website – although we ourselves do not serve such routes”, said the executive director of easyJet, Carolyn McCall.

EasyJet is a British airline, operating under the low-cost carrier model, based at London Luton Airport. It operates domestic and international scheduled services on over 820 routes in more than 30 countries.
