American aircraft manufacturer Boeing presented the new aircraft from its family 737 MAX airliners – Boeing 737 MAX 7. The 737 MAX 7 is designed for 172 passengers. Its maximum flight range is 3,850 miles (7,130.2 km), which is the largest for 737 MAX planes, the company notes.
The new modification is designed to replace the Boeing 737-700. The advanced liner model has increased the length of its autonomous flight over 1,000 miles (1,852 km) and can carry more passengers than its predecessor. The fuel consumption of the new aircraft is 18% lower than that of the 737-700 model.
“Boeing 737 MAX 7 is the perfect complement to the fleet of airlines serving high altitude or remote areas. We look forward to being able to demonstrate the incredible flexibility and reach of the aircraft”, said Deputy Chairman and General Manager of 737 MAX project, Keith Leverkuhn.
It is envisaged that the new aircraf twill enter in operation in 2019.
The Boeing 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9 are the latest Boeing family. The 737-MAX is the fastest-selling product in the history of the company. By February this year. Boeing received over 4,300 orders from 92 customers worldwide.
