EurowingsThe technological solution of Amadeus Light Ticketing receives full access to Eurowings tariffs and services. It will allow travel agents connected to Amadeus to access all published rates of Eurowings.

“According to today’s statement by Eurowings and Amadeus, the carrier plans to complement its Amadeus configuration with Light Ticketing XML-based functionality that will allow travel agents connected to Amadeus to access all published rates of Eurowings, from the most accessible of the Basic line, to premium rates. In addition, travel agents will be able to offer customers tickets for long-haul flights, as well as a wide range of additional services of the air carrier, including the choice of a seat in the cabin and the transportation of luggage. You will also save your working hours due to the opportunity to make changes and add additional services to existing reservations directly through Amadeus”, says the statement.

Travel agents connected to Amadeus in the first half of 2017 were able to increase 10% of ticket sales for budget and hybrid air carriers. In the past four years, the volume of bookings for flights of this category of carriers has increased by more than 80%. To date, Amadeus has more than 100 airlines, which gives travel agents access to 80% of the entire capacity of budget and hybrid air carriers of the world.
