The runway of the airport of the Greek island of Skíathos is built a few meters from the sea, so it has become an attraction for tourists seeking adrenaline and want to capture with their cameras and phones the spectacular landings.
Recently, new images have been published showing several tourists taking pictures of the planes that pass a few meters above their heads before landing. At the beginning of the video there is an Embraer E190 from British Airways that last week made a landing at an extremely low altitude.
Any lower and this airplane would have hit the tourists and this event would have been tragic. Luckily this did not occur but it sure looked like a possibility with the insanely low altitude this plane was landing at!
