Airbus received orders for 264 commercial airplanes since the beginning of the year

AirbusThe European aircraft manufacturer Airbus received orders for 264 commercial airplanes since the beginning of the year. The figures show growing popularity of the aircraft of the company, as well as high ordering of the new modern models. Airbus reported than 224 are orders for narrow-body aircraft, of which 126 for neo modifications, 6 orders for model A330 and 34 orders for model A350. Taking into account the converted and canceled contracts, Airbus received firm orders for 215 aircraft.

As for deliveries of aircraft to customers, for 8 months of 2017 the company delivered to customers 399 aircraft, of which 310 are narrow-bodied, 38 A330s, 43 A350 aircraft and 8 A380 aircraft.

The total number of commercial airplanes delivered to customers since the company was founded was 10,600 aircraft. The company’s total order book for commercial aircraft, as of August 31, is 6,690 aircraft, which corresponds to 9 years of production.
