Airbus improves its aviation training center in Beijing

AirbusAirbus Aviation Training Center in Beijing became the second global educational center after the training division of the corporation in the headquarters in Toulouse, aimed at training aircraft maintenance specialists. The work of the center will contribute to the further development of passenger aviation in China, meeting the need of the aviation industry.

“Airbus is committed to further strengthening its aviation service capacities in China, targeting to serve the country’s increasing demand of professionals alongside the growing aviation market”, says the official statement of the aircraft manufacturer.

Airbus has launched its new aircraft structure training courses to line mechanics, maintenance controllers, structure specialists and engineering staff in Hua Ou Aviation Centre.

The center is a joint venture between Airbus and China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS). Since its foundation in 1997, Airbus Aviation Training Center has trained more than 39,000 aircraft maintenance and repair specialists from more than 50 airlines from around the world.

In 2017, Airbus delivered 176 airliners to Chinese consumers – almost a quarter of the company’s total sales of passenger aircraft.
