This morning there was a plane crash at the municipal airport, Brown Field at 1424 Continental St. in Otay Mesa.
The authorities received the report around 11:40 am where fortunately no one was injured, when a biplane left the track and fell headlong with two people on board.
The crash left the single-engine yellow Stearman biplane tilted over his nose, but both people aboard the plane were unharmed, said San Diego Fire Department chief Colin Stowell.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was notified of the incident, which is the standard procedure for air accidents.
