They Throw a Luxury SUV from a Helicopter to Pay an Unusual Bet [VIDEO]

A luxury SUV automobile was thrown from a helicopter several meters high in the Russian Republic of Karelia, in the north of the country.

The authors of the unusual ‘feat’ were two Muscovites who arrived on Thursday at Peskí airport, in the city of Petrozavodsk, where they signed a contract to lift a 1995 Mercedes-Benz G-Class in the air, paying 250,000 rubles ($4,000) for a 20 minute flight.

In a video shared on social networks, the helicopter is seen in the air, carrying the vehicle with a rope, and at some point drops it.

As indicated by representatives of the airport, the remains of the car were collected as scrap.

According to the website, the men had placed a bet and the one who lost should throw the SUV from the air.

And as in the Russian capital the bet could not be settled, they decided to do so in that area located in the Karelia region, about 12 hours from Moscow.
