The electric shock caused him to fall to the ground, burned his clothes and left a gap in the place of the impact.

Alexander Coreas was struck by lightning while walking his three dogs through Spring (Texas, USA) on October 3, as seen in a video broadcast by ABC.

In the recording, which was captured by a security camera of a nearby hospital, you can see the exact moment in which the man received a shock that caused him to fall fulminated and caused his three dogs to get spooked and run off, although one is seen standing near his owner later in the video.

Right away, several people approached to help the man lying on the asphalt and found him without a pulse, but managed to revive him after several minutes.

The lightning burned his clothes and left a hole in the place of the impact but, although the victim “suffered very serious injuries” that include several broken ribs, his relatives indicated that he is recovering in a health center.

Coreas’ loved ones have launched a campaign to raise $30,000 in order to pay for their medical treatment.
