Brazil’s Armed Forces are in the Emergency Zone of the Amazon Fire and Need Rescue

Until now the fire extinction was confirmed in a national park of the state of Pará. The Brazilian army continues to work on other sources of fire.

There are a total of 23 days that the Amazon has been hit by forest fires. The situation unleashed the concern of rulers around the world due to the consequences it will have on the environment. The main questioned: Jair Bolsonaro.

Brazilian authorities confirmed on Monday the extinction of fire in a national park.

In the face of international pressure, El País picks up, the head of state ordered the Army to be sent to the emergency zone to collaborate with the work of extinguishing the fire. In the last hours it was announced that the work has already begun.

Fernando Azevedo e Silva, Minister of Defense of Brazil, told EFE that a contingent of 44,000 soldiers were distributed in the emergency zone.

This Tuesday, August 27, the Chilean government ordered the take off of the Air Tractor tanker to collaborate with the work of extinguishing the fire in the Amazon region.

The machine belongs to the National Forestry Corporation, an institution attached to the Ministry of Agriculture responsible for administering protected wild areas and fighting these types of accidents.

The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, is finally willing to receive external help to fight the Amazon fires but on the condition that his government manages the resources, his spokesman announced Tuesday, lowering the tone of a bitter dispute with the French president, Emmanuel Macron.

Bolsonaro said previously that he will accept the G7 fund if the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, apologizes for the ‘insults against him’. Along these lines, the Brazilian authority said that the adjectives directed at him as the liar should be withdrawn.
