China Aviation Supplies Holding signed general agreement with Airbus for purchasing of 140 aircraft. The agreement includes 100 aircraft of the A320 family and 40 aircraft of the A350 XWB family, which reflects the high demand of Chinese airlines for all segments of the air market, including domestic, low-cost, regional and international transportation.
The general terms agreements was signed in Berlin by Tom Enders, CEO of Airbus, and San Bo, the executive vice president of China Aviation Supplies Holding, in the presence of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Xi Jinping and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“This big order is an excellent confirmation of the high level for our narrow-bodied and wide-body aircraft”, said Tom Enders. “China today is one of the most important aviation markets in the world, and we are proud to support the development and rapid growth of China’s civil aviation with our competitive product range”, added he.
China Aviation Supplies Holding, through its subsidiaries, provides aircraft procurement and support services on aviation supplies. The company offers operating lease, aircraft trading, sale-leaseback, and assets management services, as well as trading services that include bulk purchasing of aircraft.
