Boeing launched its core division for global services

Boeing Global ServicesBoeing launched its third core division – Boeing Global Services, which will operate alongside Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Defense, Space & Security. A new service-oriented unit will focus on meeting the needs of customers from all over the world in the government, space and commercial sectors. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and CEO of Boeing, Dennis Muilenburg, announced the formation of Boeing Global Services in November 2016 to increase Boeing’s share in the global growing market of commercial and government services, the value of which for the next decade is estimated at 2.6 trillion USD.

“The aerospace services are one of the four main opportunities to ensure the growth of our company in the future”, said Dennis Muilenburg. “Boeing Global Services will strengthen our capabilities in all areas where Boeing provides services – from the traditional activity of supplying components and performing modifications to analyzing data and information service offers. Our competence in the field of services, the global presence of our company, strong partnerships with our customers provide us with an advantageous position to compete and win in this important segment of the market”, added he.

Since November, Boeing has been working on the formation and structuring of a new integrated unit, which includes the key resources of the former departments of Commercial Aviation Services and Global Services & Support. Under the leadership of President and CEO, Stan Deal, Boeing Global Services will provide customers with innovative solutions in four key areas of interaction with suppliers, engineering, modification and maintenance, digital aviation and analytics, as well as training and consulting.

The division of Boeing Global Services, headquartered in Dallas, was formed by integrating the company’s service capabilities in the government, space and commercial sectors into a single business that is customer-centric. Boeing Global Services is the third business division of Boeing and provides adaptive, flexible and competitive services to government and commercial customers around the world.
