The largest Russian airline Aeroflot launches the creative contest “Color Aeroflot plane” dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the company. Participants are encouraged to create a liveries sketch for the Airbus A321 and submit their work between June 29th and July 10th, 2017 on the contest website or through the application “Color Aeroflot plane” available on the official Aeroflot pages on social networks.
At the first stage of the contest, users of the site will vote for the published sketches. Ten participants with the largest number of votes will reach the final. The next stage will be a secret ballot of the jury, which will include members of the Management Board of PJSC Aeroflot. They will appreciate the expressiveness and originality of the works, and then announce the two best participants. According to the sketch of the winner of the contest, the Airbus A321 will be painted.
In addition, Aeroflot established a solid prize fund. The winner will receive a ticket for a business class flight for two persons to any point of the airline’s route network. The holder of the second place will receive a ticket for flight economy class.
March 17, 1923, was established the Russian Society of the Voluntary Air Fleet – Dobrolet. It became the ancestor of modern Aeroflot, therefore March 17 is the official birthday of the national carrier. In 2018, the airline will celebrate its 95th birthday.
