Turkish Airlines deploys five additional aircraft on Moscow-Antalya route in Summer 2018

Turkish airlines planeTurkish Airlines intends to increase passenger traffic to Moscow in the summer season by supplying an additional five wide-bodied aircraft to the Moscow-Antalya route from April to October 2018, revealed the airline’s general representative in Russia, Mefail Deribash.

“We want to allocated for the next year in Russia five wide-bodied aircraft in the direction of Moscow-Antalya, in order to increase the capacity”, said Mefail Deribash. “It’s about the summer season – from April to October”, added he.

Currently, an airline on the Moscow-Istanbul route is flying one wide-body airplane Airbus A330.

In 2017, the airline’s passenger traffic from Moscow to Turkey will amount to 1.5 million people.

Currently, there are 330 airplanes in the fleet of the airline. According to Deribash, in the next 4-5 years, the fleet will be expanded to 400-500 aircraft Airbus and Boeing.
