Lufthansa was awarded with five stars Skytrax rating

LufthansaGerman airline Lufthansa was the first among European carriers to receive a rating of five stars Skytrax, which is the highest rating in the aviation industry.

Five stars is the highest score in the Skytrax rating. To get it, the airline must meet a number of criteria, such as the quality of service for passengers on board and at airports, transfer service, baggage delivery, quality of meals on board, the presence of an on-board entertainment system, Internet access, the sale of Duty Free goods on board, the comfort of seats, as well as the knowledge of languages staff. Skytrax rating assess the airline within total 800 categories and parameters are estimated.

Thus, now there are ten airlines in the world with a rating of five stars: Qatar Airways (Qatar), Singapore Airlines (Singapore), Cathay Pacific Airways (Hong Kong), Asiana Airlines (South Korea), Hainan Airlines (China), ANA All Nippon Airways (Japan), Garuda Indonesia (Indonesia), EVA Air (Taiwan), Etihad Airways (UAE) and Lufthansa.

The international agency Skytrax is considered the most authoritative in the world in assessing the quality of services of air carriers and airports.
